Swap 3.308" rod for optional 3.328" rod? Raises compression by 1 full point
Add a carburetor pulse fitting kit and hole in the intake adapter?

Complete performance upgrade kit for the popular Predator 212 hemi head engine.

This kit will develop 20hp @ 7600rpms and 17ftlbs @ 4500rpms on 93 octane pump gas, and can be rev'd out to 8,000rpms. Set your clutch or torque converter to lock up or stall up to 4300rpms. Always use a high zinc oil like Valvoline VR1 10w-30 in all flat tappet cam engines.

The kit includes everything needed to seriously wake up a stock Predator 212:

ARC 6254 3.308" or ARC 6256 3.328" rod for Predator 212 engines - puts stock Predator 212 hemi piston at zero deck.
ARC 6626 Flywheel - 32* of timing and SFI approved, so you'll actually rev and make power.
DynoCams CM-224 camshaft - pre-clearanced for the 224cc/58mm stroke so no grinding on it is needed. Also fits Predator 212 hemi engines.
Gasket Kit with 0.045" fire ring head gasket - just enough piston to head clearance to avoid contact and a 11.5:1 compression ratio with the stock flat top piston and the Shredder head at zero deck. Optional 3.308 rod makes 10.5:1 compression for pump gas.
Shredder Head and Complete Carb Kit - Flows 80cfm and feeds 21hp. Comes fully assembled and includes stainless 28.5mm/24mm valves and 1.2:1 HD steel rocker arms. Comes with billet aluminum adapter, matching silicon boot with locking rib that fits the receiver groove in the adapter so your carburetor can't fall off, and a 26mm PWK style carburetor setup by us with a jet kit just in case. This kit also includes a cotton gauze air filter.
5.200" Chromoly Pushrods - Because your stock hemi pushrods are too long for a non-hemi Shredder head, this kit comes with a set of pushrods sized to fit this combo.

This kit comes with a real ARC rod cut from 7075 billet, and an ARC flywheel with 32* of ignition advance that's been CNC cut from a billet of 6061 aluminum, so you can forget about striping flywheel keys and tearing up cranks, and it gives you the ignition advance you need to rev out and actually make power with the Shredder head. The DynoCams CM-224 cam has flame hardened lobes so it won't wear out on the opening ramp in five hours, and it doesn't have crazy duration, so you will actually have the mid range power that you need. The Shredder head flows 80 cubic feet per minute of air, or enough to feed 21hp, which has now been dyno verified. You can reuse and lifters and non-hemi pushrods are included in this kit.

These are high quality parts that are actually setup to work together as a package, and it delivers for a low price! All of the guess work has been taken out, this kit has everything you need, with none of the compromises of the others out there.

Here is a video of one of our Shredder RPM+ heads making 21.9hp @ 7300rpms with a stock 225RS 265" lift cam and a 26mm carburetor on it. Both the head in this video and the head in this package have stock valves and no porting done, and the high compression version of this package will perform the same as this dyno video up to 8,000rpms:

Compression ratio chart is in the kit pictures. You will have 10.5:1 compression with the stock flat top 212 piston, an 0.045" head gasket, a Shredder head, and a 3.308" rod. If you choose the optional 3.328" length rod it will bump your compression ratio to 11.5:1, and you'll need to mix an ounce per gallon of VP Octanium booster to 91 or 93 octane pump gas. You can get this octane booster at Walmart for around $25 for a 32oz can.

Recommended oil is Valvoline VR1 10w-30 because it has the needed ZDDP additive package to protect a flat tappet cam as well as a minimum spread between the base oil's viscosity of 10w and the 30 weight at 212*F from the added Viscosity Index Improvers needed to achieve an SAE 30 rating at temperature. What this means is that the oil will not wear out the VII package and shear to a thinner grade as quickly as a 5w or 0w. We NEVER recommend running a non-zinc fortified oil in ANY of these industrial based engines with flat tappet cams.
