Set coil to flywheel gap to no less than 0.065" 

Torque the flywheel while holding the other end of the crank securely using a tool or fixture. Your hand is not sufficient to ensure proper torque. Torque to 65ft/lbs after lapping the crank taper to the flywheel bore with Permatex 80036 valve grinding compound until the compound has changed from a dark, gritty grey color to a light grey color and appears smooth. Be certain to wash away all traces of left over grinding compound before installing the flywheel and torquing.
